How to read this table. Every provider gets an Ease score (0–100) — how fast you reach your first API call with just an email. 100 means zero friction (sign up, get a key). Lower scores mean a gate stands between you and a working key: Card (billing required), Phone (SMS verify), KYC (real-name auth), Captcha / Cloudflare (bot challenge), OAuth (Google/GitHub only). OpenRouter alternatives: one key, many models
